College: Smith College, bachelor's degree in Anthropology

Majors before anthro: communications, psychology, nursing, business

Work History: web design, insurance claims, medical case management, nurse's aide, funeral home make-up artist, waitress

Kids: son who is a musician and daughter who is a missionary - plus, a talented and very sweet daughter-in-law, as well as a terrific son-in-law who is one of the nicest guys I know

Grandkids: one, born on my birthday in 2002! and another arrival in Jan. of 2004 - very cool! kudos to my daughter!

Favorite activities: reading, internet surfing, web design, watching women's college basketball (UConn), cooking--this comes and goes, watching cooking shows on the Food Network, writing--working on a disaster novel
